On Ticketmaster, Ghost have pretty much sold out Manchester. Cheapest tickets available are £150 platinum tickets with not many left. Same with O2, just £180 tickets left. Same with Birmingham as the cheapest ticket is £200ish. Glasgow's not done too well.

Where are you getting your info from?

TM isn't the main seller for them in Manchester. AXS is.

Cannot speak for the rest of the tour, but given there was chat they'd sell them all out day-and-date, they were certainly slower than expected.

how definite do we think posty is? if he is over in august with Untold (which seems sure given the whatsapp hints they gave), he surely is likely right?

If he’s in Europe in August, you’ve got to think he’s nailed on.

exactly what i am thinking. loves R&L, would not come to europe for just 1 romanian festival, would certainly expect more dates to be alongside Untold

im here for it. ive never actually seen him despite him being at reading a good few years in a row a couple of years ago. i was never a fan and always found myself seeing someone else in a smaller tent.

now, i am a big fan and want to see him badly

I hope he’s there for your sake! I’ve seen him a couple of times at Leeds. 2018 halfway through the day when he was blowing up was awesome. One of the biggest non-headline crowds I’ve ever seen. When he headlined a year later he had one of the biggest crowds I’ve seen at the festival again. Tbf to him his stage show was cool and had loads of pyro, I’d just lost interest in him by that point. I didn’t see him in 2021 and wouldn’t watch him again because he doesn’t do anything for me now but if you’ve never seen him, you’ll really enjoy it.

I’m in the same mindset, as long as Chappell shows up, everything else is a bonus.

Do we get a bit lost on this thread judging an artists quality by how big a crowd was when you seen them.

It's horses for course of course but Post Malone, BMTH, Chappell Roan, Charli being in the mix for example would be terrible. The dead days of Reading.

Not judging their quality by crowd size at all. I’ve just said that Posty does nothing for me now but that doesn’t change the fact that in 2019, I saw with my own eyes one of the biggest crowds I’ve ever seen at Leeds in all my years of going for his set.

I guess now though the chances or me ever actually making the effort to go to Reading or Leeds again for a day are quite remote. It would have to be something mega and the one time they did it they booked Blink vs The Prodigy which I'd never be able to decide on. It's way past the point of being booked for me though but being my first festival holds my interest.

God, this feels strange… but I’m in agreement with you, really. I did the weekend this year for my mate’s stag do for the laugh and whilst I had zero negative experiences and a bloody good time, I just don’t feel like doing a weekend there anymore. I genuinely feel too old for it (I’m 31).  I am very much up for doing one day, maybe even two depending on how they’re scheduled because my friend lives half an hour away and we can Uber to and from his each day.

Yeah the distance is the difference. I'm two and half hours way from Leeds and equally from Reading and due to where the Leeds site is at least the train is much less viable. I'm 38 now and given back then and even more so now....the difference in music is quite mad in 7 years difference.
