That makes much more sense, they book more family friendly names and they seem to have more budget these days so you may well be right with that

I won't lie, if Victorious booked Robbie Williams with The Prodigy I'd be very tempted to go down for it.

My guess is that Download were close to having MCR at one point but then they booked their own US tour dates in which meant they could no longer do Europe early summer so FR booked them for R&L instead because they are able to come to Europe for August festivals after wrapping up their US tour.

Just booked them on a good day. Yungblud would be a perfect double with them.

This has just shown me how reliant the strength of the lineup is on Foos because this doesnt look like a good set of headliners at all for me but I've never been an MCR fan.

Quite concerning that when Foos get taken out it looks less strong though given we dont know how likely that is.

Based on that lineup I only see Chappell Roan and Post selling major tickets. I would say the others aren't headliner worthy but just not at that festival. I may go to a MCR day on a cheaper ticket but not with a shite bill. Their Reading 2011 day would be really good for me now to be honest but I wasn't into Rise Against and NFG then really. Offspring and even 30 STM were quite good.

I think with Foos they get away with some underwhelming second headliners like Central Cee because they can be shoved under them and it looks about right whilst still guaranteeing tickets will sell. Get rid of Foos or an act with the equivalent status and it shows up how weak those are.

I feel like MCR / Chappell Roan as a top two could really work

I agree if its MCR I would shift around my prediction so that they are your Sunday Reading and giving Bring Me the opportunity to close out Sunday in Leeds.

BMTH // Kasabian

Post Malone // Central Cee

MCR // Chappell Roan

Wait what did we hear about Bring Me, Ive seen a lot of speculation but nothing I've seen appears to have any info behind it

Just someone on her that I feel is at least semi reliable. More so than who I heard about MCR which was on Discord but they post anything on there. Wouldn't even be surprised if the Download info that seemed legit was just fake.

Give me one last rock/emo day for ol’ time’s sake:
MCR > BMTH > Architects > Enter Shikari > Electric Callboy > Creeper > Waterparks > Boston Manor

I think BMTH before MCR would be be the way to go but without the rear of the rubbish below it. I might be in tbe minority but I wouldn't touch that day until the end of BMTH.

You owe me a Coke if they are one of the three big headliners. Which they will be.

I'll give you that, I think they are perfect Download headliners, but when I see Lana subbing, I can't see BMTH being boosted up.

Unless they're trying to create a legacy headliner for the future, so when they're sh*t outta bookings in 2028, they can say

"well Fallout Boy, Bring me the Horizon, Post Malone, Catfish and the Bottlemen have all headlined thrice before, that's 12 headline slots between the 4 of them."

I mentioned Kaiser Chiefs a few back. They're doing boardmasters as a comeback tour, but apparently are doing Leeds in May.

Central Cee subbed MSE last time he played, he'd be bumped up rather than put in that Jack Harlow/AJ Tracy/21 Savage special guest slot

The more I think, I reckon Kasabian would be happy doing the Biffy Clyro "anywhere in the headline bill is good", and playing second headliners.

Post Malone | Chase & Status | Foo Fighters

Kasabian | Central Cee | Chappel Roan

100%, plus think it’s the highest R&L would offer them

I've just looked at tickets and £325 each!!? This early, pre-lineup release etc???

Is that accurate? I was going to get for me and my wife and that's £650, plus £500 for 3 night hotel stay. I just booked 2 weeks in Corfu for £450 each.

Exactly this yet people still day it's all value. It's value because gig price market tells you that and wants you to believe that. But gig price market is well over priced.

I thought about it more last night and I think this is more likely for the direction R&L are heading

BMTH // Central Cee

Post Malone // Hozier

MCR // Chappell Roan

The most likely I reckon which will please some.

This is exactly why I wait until the week before to get a resale ticket, mine was £195 this year, wild that people will buy them full price pre-announcement.
