He’s shite. I’ve liked (and still do like) plenty of uk hip hop over the years and he’s got no character, nothing that makes him stand out, no distinctive flow. Completely generic and unremarkable.

I'll be the first to admit that my scholar's knowledge of rap and hip-hop is lacking in comparison to, say, my scholar's knowledge of Seabrook Crisps.

But yes. Just can't lock on to him.

Cookie cutter, same as Ardee. We both had N Dubz, Devlin and Professor Green growing up, Andre. It's the white side of rap, a very 'welcoming' form of rap that middle class secondary school kids can dip their toes in and have their first taste of feeling street.

We all watched Kidulthood as teens thinking that was a cool life to have. Because we are sheltered and that is the shallow end away from the real danger.

Yeah and apart from Devlin, they were all shite. They absolutely were not the UK hip hop I grew up listening to.

Eh? I never watched Kidulthood and thought ‘I fancy that’ 😂

Few things in life make me scratch my head more than your bizarre generalisations, Chadderz.

oh an absolute banger

that + herby philadelphia cream cheese = better than any lineup r&l drop

What a combo. Asda’s sea salt and black pepper crackers with the Mediterranean Appeteasers cheeses is the one, though. Proper Christmas night grub.

I now feel the need to share that I’m spending my Saturday tomorrow undertaking what I’ve termed ‘The Great Sausage Roll Experiment’ where I’m making several fancy sausage roll combos so I have them locked down in time for Christmas.

Butchers near me does what they call a “breakfast roll”. A sausage roll with sun dried tomatoes between the meat and the pastry. The whole thing is then wrapped in bacon. Outstanding.

That sounds BANGING. There’s a polish bakery near me that does a kabanos sausage roll and it’s absolutely awesome. Really nice followed by cake from the Romanian Bakery down the road.
