If they said no to Download it was very early on tbh....Wembley was the move as of July anyway.

Download thought they had them this time last year (heard this after the fact) and still they thought they had them well into 2024. Don't know when they dropped. I heard about the Muse approach before MCR.

They’re one of those bands I’d never pay to see just them. Simply put out too much naff stuff since The Resistance.

I've seen them a bunch, every tour since BH&R, arena and stadium as well as at a festival. I can't say they are an act I am dying to see there, they don't make a break it for me but they help a lot in me wanting to get a ticket. If they're there, awesome. If they're not, I don't care.

Muse were my favourite band for a long long time, but haven't seen them for a good 5 years now. Would definitely enjoy them at Reading if I went (subject to a decent undercard). The setlists from the last few years have just looked pretty awful for me

I think this could be it, with Chappell billed as a 4th headliner.

 

She'll 100% get a bigger crowd than Muse, but there's no way they take 2nd headliner

Unfortunately agree with this. Was a huge fan back in the day. Since the Resistance they lost a magic 'weird and mysterious' factor and went super pastiche and ham fisted

 

Having said that, their set at Reading 2011 remains one of my favourite gigs of all time

Yeah exact same here, they keep releasing shite albums and its ruined the setlists (plus they always have to play things like madness, uprising, starlight which take a fair few spots, good songs (except madness) but prevent the proper good stuff from the early albums from making it)

I understand she has got bigger but feels pointless her doing glasto again so soon, she was there this year! She did two sets! Let someone else have a BRAT summer, Micheal Eavis had his this year.

Iv liked all there albums, but I agree compared to other Setlists and stuff the new ones have been weaker. Like please just burn every recording of madness. It’s so slow and sh*t.
