Chappell will be no more expensive than a large band and has clearly got way more selling power than even say Foos day ticket wise at the moment.

 

The pricing has changed a lot - with day tickets going up to £200 so yeah they are definitely focused a bit more on day ticket sales

Even that feels like a lot to me, as I found with that the price of day tix to a few European festivals.

Was over £100 at their London O2 dates last October tbf. Such is the way that gigs don't feel cheap anymore.

They started at £115 and went up to £195 at the top tier. Think there were 4 or 5 price points. Guessing top tier will top £200 this year.

I doubt he knows tbh. Was it last year he mentioned about 50 different bands? Which inevitably did include the 6 headliners. Even a broken clock is right twice a day! (This may or may not be an attempt at reverse psychology)

The guy is now in his 50s so I  think he knows and comes back for the nostalgia but doesn't really care anymore
