I think they’ll be on Main Stage with that special tag. Either subbing the co-headliners or down one slot. They should be above The Kooks ffs.

Think they will lose a lot of that crowd to the superstruct fests, the undercard doesn't make up for it at all - there's what, the kooks, wunderhorse and bloc party. Any superstruct fest beats that by a mile

 

Feels like a massive shift to just selling day tickets for ££££ and then weekend tickets are an after thought imo, headliners are completely random pretty much.

 

90k day festival that also has camping. Will be interesting to see how it sells, feel the day tickets will do really well but weekend is probably going to struggle

No, Shikari have said they're doing the biggest slot they've ever done, so they're subbing.

I wouldn’t usually think they would play these days but Papa Roach are around in August so I could see them getting added to the BMTH day. Fourth down would suit them perfectly.

They were received SO well that year. Probably the most packed I’ve ever seen that stage as I walked by. It was deep as hell outside all sides of the tent.

Yeah I was in the tent that year - a real case of being booked for the wrong stage. from what i was told, they had to block the area off and inside it felt like they must’ve because people were getting crushed. a family (young girl - clearly a fan - and parents) had to leave halfway through over the barriers because they were struggling to cope. it was just two months after Heathens, so arguably the peak “buzz” they had

Hey all! As most of us are mostly disappointed, which is completely understandable with the names in the rumour mill compared to what was delivered..

 

However. many of us, due to friendship groups or other circumstances (such as myself, I live nearby Bramham Park so I go every single year.) Will still be going to Reading & Leeds Festivals in 2025.

 

To help you listen to the bands and artists top songs that you may already know, as well as help you discover the ones you haven't heard of before (there's a couple of really good ones that I like the sounds of and will be delving deeper into.) I have collated a playlist together on Spotify and I just wanted to give you guys access to this playlist as well.

 

There is at least 1 song from every single artist that has been announced so far for Reading & Leeds 2025, with the headliners having 2/3 songs in the playlist, as they're the main attractions.

 

Feel free to check it out, or recommend any songs that you would like me to add!

As a further note, this playlist will be kept FULLY up to date with each announcement. So feel free to download / stream the playlist and start getting in the mood, discover new bands, listen to classic hits and just have a good time! And as noted, it will be updated with each announcement.

Already said before, a journalist covering boxing for SSN that loves music asked an artist if he was going to be there and was told he'd been approached to play a stage against Foo Fighters.

Feel a bit sorry for my 17 year old whose favourite artist is Travis Scott and is adamant on getting at least a day ticket but none of his mates want to go again because the line up is an absolute load of horse w*nk.

The artists getting  bigger over time was nothing to do with my point. My point was half of the headliners as they are NOW wouldn’t have even sub-headlined even 5 years ago:

 

If you refuse to believe me look at the lineups from around 5 years ago and see whether you’d slot in each headliner into sub slots in that bill based on stature.

They were billed as 3rd down in 2014 but it was on the day with QOTSA and Paramore as co-headliners. So in reality they played 4th down.
