I was going to suggest Muse as a Foos alternative given they're likely to be around next year and haven't done Reading in a longer timeframe than Foos.

 

Paramore is a good shout though and in fairness I thought there was a possibility it might happen this year given the Eras stuff runs through to August. But obviously not.

I'm not so sure tbf. They're a possibility but I feel like the possibility of them taking time off is not zero either.

Watched IDLES set at Glastonbury last night and they just have to sub next year. Setlist was amazing (and then you think of the songs they didn’t play!), crowd was massive and fired up and the band were phenomenal. They’re clearly big enough to sub R&L; look at the size of the tour they’re doing this year, the vast majority of which is sold out already. IDLES under Foos would be great.
