I live a couple hours drive from several of the stadia and got precisely zero tickets in both phases despite applying for 30 or so matches.

That said, without tempting fate, I want no part of England vs Serbia - I was in Marseille for England vs Russia in 2016 and I’m fairly sure the Serbia game has been ringed in red by some of the same kind of fellas who were down on the Riviera.

its a huuuuuge headspace to come from germany and tournament group games, to the countryside and live music - ok they both involve massive crowds of people and colossal amounts of pints, but what a culture change direct from one to the other 😄  i did both in the same summer in 2016, i cant quite believe thats coming up on eight years ago ffs
