Yes this is likely unfortunately the case. I think they'll headline Woodsis or The Park myself, we don't need another 3rd down Pyramid and there are so many other better options for Other stage. I agree, it's just reminded me of Creamfields at 2pm in the afternoon on main stage years ago. Its just dead in the daylight with any lighting unless you're off your box and 11am in the morning it's unlikely. I get the reasoning but I think they could pick someone like Ella Henderson or Natasha Bedingfield for it. I actually thought this year Natalie Imbruglia was perfect for it to mix it up buy keep a dj away. -
If putting money on right now - who would people go with for their three headliners, out of interest?

Would be a huge drop off IMO from doing Download, a healthy arena run, and Victorious in the last 2/3 years. If I were Biffy, I’d be wanting to put out another album and try for another arena run and see how they go before I’d consider taking a slot at Truck (no disrespect to Truck, obviously, would be a massive coup to get Biffy). Aware their stock has dropped but surely not by that much, at least yet anyway. Always been a weird band though. Got to the top, but never quite the top top (à la Glastonbury and overseas). Edit: I may be slightly biased as you can tell from my profile picture and username! -

Hey Russy. Whilst I don't disagree with you on the pedigree or talent of the man, he's never going to top the pointed one. He's just too divisive. The chair and blanket brigade would be furious and may even leave the field! For those punters - and Aunty Beeb - they need that field to be big names, singalong pop stuff and generic crowd pleasers. Nick Cave in any guise just doesn't fit with that.
