Just booked our Bearded tickets and really excited! Been once before (2022) with friends and all our respective children and we had a good time but as the kids were fairly young did feel like we missed out on a lot of the music. This year we will be just the two of us, so very much looking forward to getting stuck in. Working through the line up so far has been fun, there’s a lot we will enjoy 😁
We are normally Glasto goers, been to 15, but didn’t get tickets in the new regime. Was expecting that to be really awful when it eventually happened but we have had a great run and don’t actually feel too bad at all currently (though slightly nervous about how it will feel when it’s happening!) However, feel sure we will def have a fab time at Bearded so hoping it will see us through!
I can mostly answer this.
A month ago Bluesky hadn't released an API for embedding content. I don't know if it's become available yet (do you see them on any other sites?), but Iggy is hoping to be able to integrate bluesky content on a lag from when such features become available.
Also worth noting that even if Bluesky release it, on the forum side that might involve waiting for the forums software to upgrade to include it, then for eFestivals to perform the upgrade and tweak the settings to set that forum upgrade live.
So it is a feature in the to-do-list, but a month ago it wasn't possible.
Yeah. The other reason I can see it being an influence is them not wanting to just casually drop £80m on a player to improve their midfield in January because even if they're confident they'll get away with it, it might look bad for the charges.
I think in a normal season, City make a big signing, that galvanises them, and they play at about 80% of how they have the last few years and that's plenty for top 4, probably enough to get them 2nd tbh.
