If she is telling the truth or lied she may still have owed tax. A married couple with multiple houses can nominate one as the main residence regardless of where they mainly live. If you don't nominate an assumption is made. The deliberate tax avoiders know the rules and flip their houses. It all looks like a mistake she could have cleared up weeks ago and the attempted cover up made things worse.

There is an element of classism to it from the Tories, they would expect us all to move on if/when it was one of them. Adam Boulton said it on the LBC that it seems personalised against Angela Rayner.

I am puzzled as to your actual views on this, I did ask yesterday after you shared a link via an embeded Tweet.

Do you think Raynor needs to say or do anything or is it that you think she should just be left alone and has done nothing wrong?

I recall last time there was legal advice given and the government refused to publish it that situation really did not turn out very well.......... yet here we are again.

The Labour frontbencher has hosted a Sunday morning show on the station since 2022 after a number of appearances covering for other presenters, and regularly stands in on Bank Holidays.

Heard a few commentators over weekend saying local elections could be real bad for Tories, but maybe not catastrophic. Reform not standing candidates in lots of places, and many Labour councilors quitting or facing defeat because of Gaza. Also, Lib Dems and Greens traditionally do well in local elections, which I guess could hurt both Labour and Tory.

tories will do  dreadful. can't see lib dems or greens gaining much. both too anonymous.
