After all Rishi’s hard work! Up next… the boats are not stopping and waiting lists have increased again. Absolutely useless! But at least he has a plan / knows what a woman is / isn’t a terrorist defender… or some bollocks

The 'halving inflation' pledge was always utterly meaningless, nothing he did or could do by that point made a difference. Plus they celebrated it as if 4 percent inflation was good when it is still double the target. The whole thing has been dealt with terribly and the BoE should have raised IRs way faster and quicker.

sure, but I can't see another option, unless Ali stands as an independent...too late for that right?

Best course of action is Ali gets elected, keeps Galloway out then Labour take action after the election. There’s nothing Labour can do really before the election.

Apparently, ‘woke culture’ is putting off the army from their duties. According to chief flag lover Grant Shapps.

having lived much of my life in an army town i'd be hugely surprised if there was any woke culture in the army.

could be a mad few weeks...Tories lose by-elections, ministerial resignations, Hunt cuts all taxes, April election.

May election, like I’ve always said 😉

But only way it will be May is if their is a leadership challenge I reckon...otherwise they'd be mad.

I did hear a rumour about Cameron taking over as a unifying leader. If they do that Labour should bin Starmer and bring back Blair...because he would definitely unify Labour.

I think the Tory leader has to be an MP?

Sell up everything and head off walking to The Far East

Or even better sell everything, give it all to charity an then head off on the above walk

Nah not at all, I am buzzing for the general election. I’ve waited years to see the Tories finally get beaten and it might just be about to happen. I cannot wait for election night, I’m gonna stay up all night, it’s gonna be so much fun.

If you are feeling overwhelmed with it all then definitely take a break as I understand how it can feel overwhelming at times.

I don't know about overwhelming, just utterly depressing.

Yeah I get that, maybe a short break from the news would help or stay away from certain types of news?

There's a precedent for a Prime Minister not to be an MP. Sir Alec Douglas Home was PM between 1963 and 1964
