Looks like an Israeli ground invasion of lebanon is on the way...hopefully limited.

so they say, i'm still waiting for the claimed ground invasion of gaza, i think the claims are about trying to flush out the enemy.

it might be limited like any land invasion of Hamas...big difference is Hamas just went into hiding, whereas Hezbollah are a lot bigger and more powerful force, but then again they've possibly been totally decimated the last few weeks.

don't know about any of that, but they may well want it as border of a buffer between Hezbollah and Israel.

that's the excuse they'll use for a Zionist land grab. 😛

I’m sure a few got through but the iron dome system also ignores any missiles that aren’t going to land on populated areas so how many actually caused damage is anybody’s guess.

So has Iran done what Netanyahu wanted? and Sinwar?

That's an interesting point.

Hamas's atrocity on 7th October was clearly intended to provoke a major war, much like 9/11 was (and did).

One year on, and it looks as though Iran and its proxies may finally be getting what they wanted.

I don't think Netanyahu wanted it, but he appears to be ready for it.

Who knows what strategy is, not sure there is one..but felt like Israel were kind of winning against Iran with this latest thing against Hezbollah, and that was likely helping Netanyahu at home and abroad after the damage done from the whole Hamas/Gaza/hostages mess, and also with it making Iran look weak and unwilling to get involved...but now they have, and now Israel has to respond...and who knows how this thing ends.
