Simple Plan and State Champs were good in Leeds last night.  Never been mad on most skate-rock stuff (went with a mate who's obsessive) but both acts brought loads of energy and worked the crowd brilliantly.  Had a great time.

No, just the Friday. I was potless when the tickets came out & by the time I had money, the Friday was all that was left. Just as well as it turned out as it's my grandson's first birthday party on the Saturday & I couldn't miss that - not even for The Hold Steady!

Really is slim pickings for me compared to this time last year when I'd already seen half a dozen gigs.

On the plus side getting to see a decent chunk of live comedy over the next few weeks which will do just as well.

Three festivals is still a decent amount of music to be seeing tbf.

Wish list at the moment includes Green Day at Wembley and Foo Fighters in Cardiff. Undecided about a few others, but there'll be movement soon... maybe.
