Having just got back home from the london show i would agree that more people seemed to be there for bullet but then again i am also bias myself.
However i dont think either band quite have that pull to be close to headlining.
First gig of the year for me tonight. Bullet For My Valentine & Trivium at the O2. I got tickets mainly to see BFMV and they were fantastic but was surprised I also enjoyed Trivium, who I never really listened to before.
They often do a resale event much nearer the festival start date. Seem to recall its via Tikel. Pretty sure they will promote it in a few months time encouraging people to register for the sale. You get all sorts of tickets up for sale, early bird, 3 day, 4 day, parking etc. The one that does not come up that often and lots of people want is the Thursday upgrade.
So would recommend registering with Truck for updates and when they publish the info on the resale, you should get notifications.
I have no idea if they come up on Twickets, Tikel etc outside of the formal Truck Resale but worth checking from timt to time.
Have Lowlands confirmed what day they will be announcing? Guessing it will be Tues or Weds and they always do a first drop of about 25/30 names.
As there's so much overlap between the two, wondering if PKP will go with the usual headliner a day on Tues/Weds/Thurs followed by a bigger announcement on Fri, or just give us a bunch all in one go on Tues? There's a danger the 'surprise' of the undercard will be spoilt if they wait until Friday to announce them but tbf, we probably know most of the bands in the running anyway.
