From what little I know of the subject (friend of a friend is in the industry) it isn’t always as easy as just swapping an artist across stages. The contracts are often signed for a specific stage. Sometimes the artists want a specific stage. Glastonbury has done it where they’ve been able to give people a bump up when an act has cancelled but just making people move to a smaller stage (as BBC would have been doing) is much trickier.

What did he miss though? Avril Lavigne was pretty good tbf but the rest of the lineup around the time of the match was utter arse water. It's one of the weakest Glasto Sundays of all time. I'd have watched the match too if I was there given the chance. There wasn't a great deal to drag my attention away. It finished in plenty of time for Justice too.

I think Metallica and especially Lars Ulrich gushing about the festival, walking around incognito, staying the whole weekend. If I'd bumped into Lars or James at any point it would've made my year. -
