fraybentos1 Posted yesterday at 09:00 AM Report Share Posted yesterday at 09:00 AM Do you think this is worth doing even if you're getting the bus and not driving? We arrive on the Thursday and wouldn't mind a guaranteed area and showers would not be a bad thing either. Or is it only worth doing if driving. Parking right outside the entrance is a big plus, but honestly, the guaranteed pitch, the space, the bar, the pizza & coffee, the showers, the clean plentiful loos...all add up to a very leisurely experience even if you have to wander over from PGA! If I was arriving Thursday and wanted to know I had a spot reserved, I'd do it in a heartbeat. Basically, the parking is the cherry on top. I just went to book for the 6 of us (3 couples) and there seems to be only one slot left so it might all be irrelevant for now.. How long would you say the walk to the Pyramid is? I imagine 15 mins is exaggerated.

In festival traffic, was closer to 25-30 mins to the pyramid. 20 minutes or so to the Park, 15ish to Arcadia...I wasn't in a particular hurry mind you, usual festival bimbling...

I booked it becasue we're arriving by coach on Thursday and I didn't want to be late and have to struggle to find a place for the tents. For me it's worth it just to avoid the hassle of finding a free pitch and to have more time to enjoy the festival!
