Anyway I wouldn't be surprised if they offer some more pitches, especially since last year's photos show there's still plenty of space available

Yep. There’s clearly a gap in the market for affordable glamping so they’d be silly not to add more if they can.

You wouldn't subtly say?

I don't know what you mean?

Not looking at the road could clearly get them and others killed

I couldn't agree with you more. Oddly enough though, he probably does more annual mileage on the roads than two salesmen / women put together, and whose geographical area covers the whole of the UK, and has never had an accident. I'm not defending his driving, just stating a fact. If I steer the subject to Glastonbury, I wonder just how many 'thousands' of people are risking it by driving home on the Monday morning / afternoon? When I used to go (and I was always the driver, apart from once) I never indulged on the Sunday. Personally I take road safety very seriously.

Don't know as it's just 'affordable' that there's demand for, Love Fields have sold out of their PYO too!!!

We decided a while ago that we want to save, to do a big US trip, for the OH's 40th in October, rather than treat Glasto as our main holiday, so we were going to camp in general this year. But just went on to have a nosey, and they've sold out of PYO, Motorhomes and their pre erected bell tents etc too. We've stayed there the last couple of years, and they've never sold out entirely on ticket day before.

ah interesting - does it sound like more could be made available today?

I’m unsure! This is what they said

”Morning, it’s looking that way on the site. But there’ll be an update later this morning on any further availability 👍

maybe info and sale on another day? Hard to tell with that response 🤣

Anyone on the lookout for inexpensive glamping, there is a new site by Gate D, run by Yurtel. It's a pitch your own tent but it has lots of glamping facilities with prices from £250.00. Plus you get a 5 metre by 5 metre pitch, so you can pitch more than one tent with a maximum of 5 people on for the pitch for the same price! There is more information here - https://holtfarm.co.uk/ Also see the discussion over in questions - https://www.efestivals.co.uk/forums/topic/253563-is-this-campsite-a-scam/ 😄

Another one.. that must make how many... anyone know

This was posted in April 2024 for this years festival. It's proved to be so popular they are already full for 2025! At least this one is more reasonably priced than most! Are you going next year Guy?

👋 unfortunately still waiting on final confirmation. But it’s very unlikely any more plots will be made available. We’d encourage those who missed out to secure alternative camping arrangements 😔

I hope they dont start charging even more next fest cause they can. Theyre gonna lose the "affordable" tag really fast. Cause come back from fallow youll have big demand and more new people who tried it out.

After days of refreshing. We finally got a 5x5!

no payment taken yet, but they said no issues and wait a few hours!

Could be that some folks secured a pitch just in case they lucked out on WV/Sticklinch, and then cancelled when they got in today....sucking up any financial penalty from HF.

I purchased a Holt farm pitch the day after securing a Glasto ticket, I took a screen shot of the completed booking and money has left my account. However, I haven't received an email confirmation of purchase from the company, emailed them but no reply. Did others receive email confirmation?

Yes I had a confirmation email shortly after booking, with a downloadable parking pass attached, plus another email with details about my Holt Farm account being created, where I can then see my booking.

If you've got the booking reference (mine was a '#' followed by 4 digits...) then it's probably all good, but if you've booked parking you'll need the pass either from the email, or from your account.

Hope you get sorted 🙏

I received an email confirming my booking, but i don't know if they send us some kind of "ticket" a few days before or if the order number is enough to get access to the campsite.

Going by what is written on the Confirmation email I think you just rock up with the confirmation, the parking pass (if you've booked one), your Glasto ticket and photo ID.....as per below.....

Arrival by Car
If you are coming by car you will be directed to either the North or South Holt Farm car parks depending on whether you are camping in the general, quiet or family fields. Once you enter the car park you will be met by a steward who will need to see your parking pass printed and displayed in your windscreen. Phone passes are not accepted. Once you have parked you will be met by a steward who will ask you for your Holt Farm Booking Confirmation (phone or printed), Photo ID and Glastonbury Ticket confirmation. Please note the lead booker needs to be with you to confirm your booking, your parking reservation and to receive your Holt Farm wristbands.

Arrival by Foot
If you are coming by foot please make your way to the Holt Farm reception tent where you will need to provide your Holt Farm Booking Confirmation (phone or printed), Photo ID and Glastonbury Ticket confirmation. Please note you will need your lead booker to receive your Holt Farm wristbands.

Please check the details on this email. If anything is incorrect or if you would like to change your contact or booking details then please email us at info@holtfarm.co.uk or call us on 01225 290 120.

If you have purchased a parking space with your booking you can download it below. You must bring this with you when you arrive on site.
