Went last year. Beautiful festival and had a great time. Would encourage anyone to give it a go if you can at some point.

What is the weather like? I've heard lots of stories about Japan being veeeery hot in July.

 

 

The line-up seems weak at the top lines for Fuji Rock's standards, for what I remember. Overally, there still would a lot to see for me. Not this year for sure, maybe in the future 🙂

Ridiculously hot. But there are showers in you need them and there is shade in places.

 

Yeah lineup doesn’t do it for me but beautiful scenery, the best I’ve seen at a festival and just a good vibe. Lots to see and you’d enjoy it with just a handful of bands you like/know on the lineup. Discovered some Japanese gems when we went.

We plan to visit Japan next year in summer and it would be great of we could arrange one or more days at this festival. 


For those who have visited it, how do you organise it? I see bus tours, hotels, camping sites ... what's the way to make it happen?
