Floyd_Ams
Very happy with Beth Gibbons, Fontaines D.C and Elbow. Simple Minds for some extra nostalgia ain't bad either. Regarding Thom Yorke, I'd love it if he is there in any shape or form. It's been a while for Damon Albarn as well...

I genuinely think if he doesn't crack it this time, he'll pack it in. The problem you have when you're specifically massive in just the UK and not many other places is that the touring revenue can dry up if you over-egg the territory in terms of exposure. Editors to be honest would have made a difference. 4 hours ago, VolkIreland said: The price is split. So not per person. I did the pre pitched myspace for the first time 2 years ago. First year 2 person pre pitched and this year 4 person. Holy Moly. Totally worth it. It's still only one bigger tent though isn't it? You can't go as two people and get separate tents? I guess the price was split between people though. The €300 would just be if you wanted your own tent.
gingerevans84
We having Noah Kahan as a double headliner? Or an extremely strong support?

If, and it's a big if they tour festivals in 2027 they headline glastonbury. Perhaps it's the plan already, with glastonbury fallow year in 2026. I actually hope they headline somewhere else, I have no intention going back to glastonbury personally. Especially when you think they've only played once since 2003. They need at least a couple of albums minimum

How do you know? Plenty of bands have decadelong absences from touring life.

Given their long absence they would be even more hyped than before. They played Werchter 6 times before during 1996-2017. Codhead
Fontaines, While she Sleeps, Simple Minds and Girl in Red, all seem ok and I would go and see but only if there isn't a better act on for me. Amy, Wet Leg, Lola, and RAYE all seem to be this new breed of singers who don't sing and just talk, which I don't like. Elbow are ok, but too slow and chill music for a festival. Noah is dogshit, he was support for Dermot Kennedy and was terrible. Beth Gibbons, is terrible (to be fair I only listened to one song and switched it off after a minute). Barry, RUFUS and Overmono all seem to be DJ acts, which isn't my cup of tea. So, the release of names, instead of enticing me in, it has only pushed me further away. I need 8 or 9 acts who I would pay to see, and at the moment, there's only 3, with GreenDay, LP and Sam Fender.

She's very much marmite, for me she's fantastic. For a better representation check out Portishead and her album with rustin man. Even better she does a few tracks, from Portishead and rustin man era in her setlist. Will be my must see, depending if I choose werchter or roskilde. BlackFoxx
Do we think the absence of acts like Weezer, Biffy Clyro and Jimmy Eat World can be interpreted as a decrease in their likelihood of playing given they've already been announced for similar festivals. Or is it a case of holding them back to form part of a later announcement?

Noah is a bigger act than Dermot Kennedy at this point, may not be your cup of tea, but he’s huge and his life show has come on terrifically still hoping we get Weezer under green day

Tbf, there’s another announcement in a week or 2 so not too long to hold back either. Still at least another couple of strong packages to go

Even more so, that the green day at werchter show is bang in the middle of the 4 day gap in schedule.

I saw someone maybe on the festileaks programme say that the more themed days around different genres so far might be to help shift day tickets, but hopefully later announcements balance it out a little bit more for those with combi tickets. Really hoping for Jack White's EU/UK tour dates to arrive soon and include a day here, as that'd be a great get for me along with the names above.
