If you do end up heading solo, I'm the admin of a solo camping Werchter WhatsApp. Its been going since 2019 and its been pretty successful for anyone with going solo their first time (Or returning solo again). I can DM you the invite link or I think its been added to the RW Reddit FAQ.

€200 for a double airbed with pillow, sleeping bag and 2 person tent isn't too bad considering someone said they opted for a 4 man over a 2 man from their first time and felt it worth it. Hive MySpace is €524. You also get to take that kit hom with you as its not hired.

I think it may be me you're referring to. Last year I went with my GF, and we had the pre pitched + Air mattress pack, and it was good. Can be a SMALL bit cramped if ye have 2 big bags. This year I was in the 4-person pre pitched + air mattress, and it was great. Very spacious middle section and plenty of space in the “room” with the double air mattresses.

I'm suspecting that the hunch of when Fontaines Bloc Party and Biffy got mentioned that Biffy are the one not playing as it's just not worth either of their time to book them.

My newer pop up is fine for Glastonbury etc bit it's a big bag and a ballache mostly like to carry over the water. The fact I likely won't have my wheels with me means I need to travel light although one backpack and a set of wheels to carry on board and eurostar in a black bag, then on a train over there and shuttle I wouldn't see an issue. The issue is getting over there on Tuesday evening if I end up at Glastonbury after that finishes lol.

So I'd heard in the Glasto threads.

 

Hoping more for their own show. Have said multiple times I'm annoyed I didn't go their shows with Bloc Party in the UK last year. Though can already guess the hype both for the fact those shows sold out and that they've just been playing support on the biggest tour of the year hints there'll be a lot of people vying for tickets to any such combination.

I'd still recommend either the 2-person pre pitched pack or the Apollo in that case. Someone in our group got the Apollo pack and it looked great tbh. Like there definitely is enough room for 2.

Seems to be based on them saying "we'll be back soon" or similar during the Eras Tour shows (one of which I was at), but haven't really seen anything else to suggest that they're gonna be around. After the Eras Tour and the previous album tour with Bloc Party wouldn't that be three years in a row touring here without new material? Feels more likely to me that they'd take a break for a bit after all the shows this summer and then maybe start working on a new album.

 

R.e. the website - the cynic in me also feels that might be more about getting a fully stocked merch lineup out in time for Black Friday / Christmas, rather than gearing up to be especially active again. Might just be me on the site but I can't seem to find a tab for tour dates or live or anything similar that would suggest they're going to hit the road again soon.

The guys over on the Glasto discord have it under good authority that Paramore will be playing, they’re currently using an extended traffic light system to determine how likely someone is ranging from ❌🔴🟠🟡🟢🔵✅ and Paramore are currently marked with a 🔵

 

I’m not sure what the original post said or where the source came from but they’re confident they’ll be at the festival in some capacity

Ah that's great news! Fingers crossed they make it over here too then or at least play UK dates around it! Anyone know how big they are in Belgium comparative to UK/elsewhere? Would they sub or is it another Biffy type situation where they'd play a lower slot than expected from the UK. Would fit really well under Green Day if there's space after Simple Minds. Likewise on Olivia Rodrigo's day but I think that might be harder with Noah Kahan a very likely sub already.

Yeah the only substance I had was their fan Reddit and Hayley telling some they were planning on Euro shows for 2025. But they did a big interview a few weeks ago saying an album was in development.

 

That Discord show of faith is big as well tbf.
