foolee
With there being 48 acts announced (2 more than last year) I can see 4/5 stage headliners clashing next year.
DomDom1984
Any chance of a return of the two stage tent?

Was one of those that worked in theory but don't think the execution was right, especially with only one entrance. The tent was pretty much empty on the far side the entire day at south as people stopped halfway.

I haven't bothered to count but social media seemingly feel there is a comfortable amount of less acts this year to previous.

Pretty sure we had 46 last year and we’ve got 48 this year unless I’ve miscounted something.
Rusty Spoon
I went this year and had a great day - got one of the half price tickets they were flogging the week before. Seems they rectified a lot of the issues of 2023 but the site was noticeably quieter. It'll be interesting to see how it goes with a lot more people on the site. Found Leeds awful but only day I was free. Will always do Hatfield now. Hope that the kaisers day at temple newsum is better
JustThis
What does everyone think in terms of stage splits? Not sure where Trio go. Wish they’d just announce the splits - looks like it will be clash central

If 3 of those Stage acts clashed I'd actually sell my ticket off.
Henrik
If they clash Finch and Alkaline Trio, I'll be a broken man.
NorthernSoul52
Get Twin Atlantic on a big stage. They've got the tunes, or rather, THE CHOOOOONS.
DomDom1984
I was thinking them or Finch might top Key Club.
NorthernSoul52
Seems perfectly feasible - but would rather have them mid-afternoon on a bigger stage, I think. Not sure why.
DomDom1984
Yeah, I definitely want them in a shite spot. The top end is likely stacked enough as it is.
NorthernSoul52
A nice mid-afternoon rocket through the hits - though, as I mooted in another thread, the new material actually slaps live too. Twin Atlantic are a bit like The Gaslight Anthem. There's not much reinvention to what they do, but what they do tackle, they do so superbly, and that can translate terrifically into a live show. (I say this as a very big fan of The Gaslight Anthem. Thought History Books was criminally underappraised.)
DomDom1984
They didn't play Haunt earlier in the year in Glasgow so I'd LOVE to see that live.

Sphinx.
I've been to Slam Dunk in 2023 which organizationally was quite messy. The timetable was a clusterf**k but even worse were on site set times that were delayed on some stages which screwed up my schedule. Was anyone there last year who can say if that improved? Talking about Hatfield btw. Quite hyped for the lineup again this year, but I expect chances are poor I get to see Alkaline Trio, New Found Glory, The Used and Finch full sets... Monster stage in Leeds was horrendous for late starts. Didn't spend long enough anywhere else to notice a pattern but pretty sure AAR went on stage early on the SD stage?
