What's the best thing about this festival?

Travelling down from Aberdeen with 4 Friends all in our 50's, sleeping in motorhome, awning, tent, can't wait for The Prodigy, Johnny Marr, Simple Minds...going to be ace...well excited.

I’ve been 3 times before and am going again this year. There’s no doubt there is a whiff of corporatism about it, so if that’s a turn off, then be prepared, but I can happily ignore it.

 

So, the best things… the land and surroundings are really nice. If it’s warm and dry, it is a lovely spot to enjoy the music. The Arena is well laid out and small enough to get round, and you should easily be able to get to all the acts you want. The vibe is very chilled and family friendly. The smaller stages which usually have local and covers bands are great fun.
 

Eats and drinks a tad overpriced the last time I went, but in line with what most other festivals are doing.
 

I would not go if the line up didn’t appeal, but this year I think it’s great and am looking forward to the weekend tremendously.
