I really hope they return to Primavera.. (although I have to admit that wish feels kind of selfish, as it is also based on the fear that that state he‘s in will not be sustainable for very long anymore 😞 ) Bright Eyes just cancelled all remainig tourdates in 2024. They hope to be back on the road next year. https://www.rollingstone.com/music/music-news/bright-eyes-cancel-2024-tour-dates-conor-oberst-vocal-issues-1235115554/

It is beginning to look far too feasible and far too balanced for fan's wishlist fake poster. Any chance that it is a Primavera, 'hiding in plain sight', plant to test reaction to certain names? Hasn't that happened before? I certainly could see a lot of these names on the poster.
Marty76
Really don't think so, but just in case I'm wrong: I'd be very happy to see Anohni, Nine Inch Nails, GYBE, Heartworms, Protomartyr, Goat, FKA Twigs, Bon Iver. More likely, whoever prepared this list is laughing out loud at a bunch of nerds including me who take this seriously...

Yeah, the main way these days they decide upon the poster for their 15million budget festival is to assess the comments of a couple of people on an overseas fan forum. 5
Trk
Don´t get me wrong, it's a well curated ps-friendly whislist and I would happily see 20+ of those names, but it would be a little weak headliner wise. They would not get a decent attendance with that. Even in a globaly very "weak" year tourwise like 2024, they got some bigger acts that helped with the sales. I'm all in favour of having down-to-earth expectations and not asking for unreal lineups, but there should be a middle ground between asking for impossibles and settling for less than the average. At the end of the day we are talking about a 30 million festival whose bosses have stated they aim to keep being a world top5-ish.

Haha. Yes, you are totally correct about that! Really didn't think it through! It's been a long week.

Think I'm clutching at straws a bit because with probably less than a couple of months to poster, I really have no idea about what we can expect. That’s why a name like Sabrina Carpenter or Olivia Rodrigo is missing and it would make a lot of difference. All they need is a “Lana del Rey” calibre name. And then they can build the lineup around that.

quentin_Tent
Having seen G!YBE a couple of times, I can vouch for their bowel shaking tendencies. In fairness, as well, I always place Imodium above most other things including party prescriptions, when writing my Pre-Primavera shopping list. LMDS
After discarding Kylie, and despite the debate regarding Charli three-peating, there would be other names we could think about. Another 'Primavera regular', Rahim Redcar (formerly known as Christine and The Queens) is teasing something. Also MARINA (and The Diamons) is coming back, and it seems she's working pretty well with youngest audiences as well (I really don't know it it is another tiktok trend or what, but people who wasn't there 10-15 years ago is listening to her a lot now). In smaller font size, Magdalena Bay, Ralphie Choo, Mustafa, Heartworms and Casero (Primavera Label and new album) could be added as well to the bill. The "B" side of this is that Beak and Bright Eyes definitely won't be in Barcelona this year.
scatteredscreens
Honestly as a pop name Charli would be far better for the festival over Kylie anyway, and likely much cheaper to book.

I think she would fit better in Mad Cool (they're also eager to spend a bigger budget on artists), but I can be wrong, of course

diogozsz
I’m just not seeing what other female names might headline this year. It feels like all the viable options have been there in recent years

LMDS
Plus already mentioned Marina, and Redcar (Chris), and ofc they always have some undercard that nobody expect until being announced. Some people is also thinking about Gwen Stefani and Nelly Furtado with this y2k trend going on.
scatteredscreens
Redcar is not a headliner name. Their star has fallen massively. Neither is Marina.
diogozsz
I can also see Nathy Peluso being a top liner for this. No dates in Spain on her Europe tour when they’re her biggest European audience
diogozsz
Although he played this year, I can see Ralphie Choo coming back with a new album. Other Spanish talent I’d love to see here is Judeline (she played in 2022 and was amazing, she’s releasing her debut album next month i think) and Julieta to fill their annual Catalan pop star slot.
