I reckon if the draw of 2025's festival is having 3 huge popstars as the headliners, then I can imagine a bigger crowd for Central Cee than LCD Soundsystem, though I could be wrong!

It will be interesting because there's clearly a big divide, where you have a huge crowd of people going for those headliners and then you have the more traditional PS crowd who will go for the undercard.

Even in work a couple of my colleagues who are alternative music fans were raving to me about all the smaller names and will be going to the festival for the first time and some of the girls who had probably never heard of the festival were amazed by the headliners and will also be attending. LCD vs Central Cee could go either way in terms of crowd size.

I now think the lineup has been very cleverly assembled and if they're able to, they will try to keep following this model of huge pop headliners which fund the (to me) more interesting bookings. I've said this before but I always have a better time at the other stages so the more I think about it, the better this lineup will be in practice.

There is a lot of electronic stuff and djs on Thursday don't know how they will fit all in the night:

-Jaime xx

-Brutalismus3000

-John Talabot b2b Dj Dustin

-Kelly Lee Owens

-DJ Koze

-DJ Python

-Djrum

-Kia

-Toumba

I’m pretty sure Jamie will (eventually clash w DJ Koze and)  close the main stage after Idles - FKA Twigs - Charli. Great run. Brutalismus 300 to close Cupra on day 1.

Dj Python, Djrum, Kia and Toumba for sure warehouse material but for the rest... I can see the b2b closing cupra and brutalismus3000 closing Amazon like agcook in 2024

I can see KLO playing Cupra while FKA-Charli are on main stage

If the headliners have pulled in a lot of new attendees, it'll be interesting to see what they do for the rest of the festival.

My 19 year old daughter is a bit Charlie XCX fan, but she's also heard of a lot of the 'bedroom indie' that has gone big, like Clairo, and beabadoobee. Other than that, and a few of the bigger indie/pop acts, I wonder if the dance/djs are going to attract a lot of people - similar to a festival like Parklife with a few big live acts, and a lot of djs.

There just doesn't seem a huge amount of other stuff in the live lineup that is anywhere close to the three main headliners.

On days like when Lana played, or with Miley Cyrus in 2019 I think a lot of those fans just leave right after those acts. You can see how packed Mordor gets and then when these huge pop acts finish, the site clears out quite a bit.

Some will obviously go to electronic sets or wander around but I'd guess about half of them go home.

I was talking more about more club oriented / techno music but yeah Sabres of Paradise could fit in it. I have discarded everything that is ambient or less club-oriented like Beatrice Dillon, Shed live or Motriz Vons Oswald that could fit well in the Auditory or early in the Warehouse.

Thursday: Jaime XX, Brutalismus3000, John Talabot b2b Dj Dustin, Kelly Lee Owens, DJ Koze, Dj Python, Barker, Djrumm, Kia, Toumba, Jane Fitz, Sabres of Paradise

Friday: Amelie Lens, Antor, Floating Points, Danny L Harle (live), Kittin, Jehia, Kinetic, Mala Junta: D.Dan & DJ Tool & Hyperaktivist & Yazzus, Mor Elian b2b Alarico, Sideproject, Simo Cell

Saturday: Nicola Cruz, Confidence Man, Danny L Harle (dj set), John Talabot b2b Mad Miran, Joy Obirson, Lanav, Dj Masda, Sandwell District, Sherelle

It's insane, nothing like the previous two editions. It's impossible to create a clashfinder based on 2024 and 2023 — there are too many DJs even the warehouse gets saturated because there are always two or three ambient or more conventional live acts per day

Are you sure that's a lot more clubby than previous years? It looks similar to last year's clashfinder to me, as there were some of the bigger dance/dj acts dotted around on the other stages. When I went through the lineup on spotify, I put the djs in one folder, and it's not that full - similar to the list above.

Thursday -->2023(6)-2024(9)-2025(13)

Friday --> 2023(6)-2024(7)-2025(11)

Saturday --> 2023(9)-2024(6)-2025(10)

I'm not taking into account the names from the Boiler Room or the former Pull&Bear stage that was present in 2023 with a full electronic music lineup, as it doesn't seem like it will return in 2025, theoretically.

Ah right. Were the Boiler Room names not on the poster then?

Friday > Thursday > Saturday

But it's actually very well balanced.

As for the headliners, I have to admit that I started to enjoy Chappell Roan very much and it really feels like a proper Primavera booking. Unfortunately, I still can't say that about Sabrina.

I'm also very happy that all four Wednesday concerts are on my want-to-see list, so let's hope the ciutat programme leaves the best artists for Monday / Tuesday / Sunday (I'm planning a full Primavera week - tried it this year for the first time and liked it very much).

I agree about Chappell Roan. Her album is by no means a masterpiece, it's a bit samey in my opinion. But she has so many catchy songs already, it's gonna be a great singalong and just a fun time I think, I'm actually really looking forward to it now, I hope she doesn't clash with Cap'n Jazz. I'm wondering If she'll do a 90min set, but I guess it's gonna be 75 like SZA.

Bands on top 2 lines for main stages,

Chappell roan fans in for interesting times, run down for a spot like Lana fans , then they have to listen to Turnstile and Fontaines DC before Chappell comes on

Second line won't all be at Mordor, some will be the counterprogramming - I suspect Fountaines will headline amazon

My favourite Beach House album is Bloom but you can't really go wrong with them

Confirmed that “bits” is back - obviously won’t be over the bridge but do you think there is possibly going to be a larger electronic focused stage given the larger number of dj’s / electronic live acts on the bill?

im talking your DJ Koze, Joy orbison, Armand van helden types to headline this

Agree, my favourite ones are Bloom and Depression Cherry.

Bloom is a 10/10 masterpiece for me.

I also loved Once Twice Melody - they released it as four EPs of four songs, four weeks apart. So it was really good to spend time with each element of it as a 16-song album could be overwhelming.

100%, OTM is absolutely stunning but a lot to take in in one hit, the way they released it was perfect.
