Or had been at Old Trafford given the dodgy roof there. Saw Gary Nev trying his best. Saying that I'm going for a 0-0 or a sneaky 1-0 win to utd. It's the hope that kills you. thetime
Michael Oliver reffing today, will be amazed if utd end with 11 men. Seems a very odd choice after last season.

Well, that hope is looking more alive than it did earlier. Must say this is significantly better than what I saw against Newcastle the other day, likely assisted by not having to resort to an Eriksen/Casemiro midfield that would've been world beating in 2017. Gnomicide
Urgh. Poor today, Liverpool. Should have subbed Alexander-Arnold earlier but Bradley is only just back from injury. Still, given Maguire's miss at the end, it could have been worse.

Made me wonder if for Man Utd fans, it was better that or the goal goes in only for Zirkzee to be deemed to be a quarter of an inch offside, seeing as Neville seemed to think he might be in that territory. They were much better though. As said, I was deeply unimpressed by how they played against Newcastle on Monday and heard similar reviews for the recent Wolves & Bournemouth games, but clearly, time on the training ground and a better midfield pairing had a more stable platform to play with. I wouldn't go that far, they can lift themselves on the big games. Even the defeat to arsenal, was to setpiece goals. Chelsea another one we got a point against. It's very much utd of the 80s, raise it against the big boys and everyone else it's scary how bad it is. Wouldn't rule us out beating arsenal in the cup, then losing to Southampton at home. We have Ole's Man Utd losing at home to a previously hopeless Sheffield United then beating that season's PL champions Man City at the Etihad. So it would be on brand.
