Missing your coach

My mate's moved to Dubai recently due to work, and can only get back to the UK on the Friday morning of the festival.

 

He is meant to be on a Weds coach from Manchester. Ive heard in the past that coach drivers hand any uncollected tickets back into the office. Is there anyone he can contact to arrange a collection on the Friday or is he going to have to chance it on the day?

its annecdotal and the festival are within rights to refuse to hand over tickets , that said he will likely be given them but they certainly wont ever confirm that in advance

With him having to fly 6+ hours to get home he's weighing up whether to come if it's not guarenteed

Yeah that's a tough one. If he did make the journey he'd have to be mentally preparing to hop the fence just in case they didn't give him the ticket. Is it wrong if you've paid?

Does he have any friends on the coach? The past two times I've gotten the coach the tickets have been handed out pretty informally with no checks to see if the people collecting the ticket were actually the named person or not.
