They are going to book the acts that sell as a return and in Europe, quetta sells as good as any

They just change their logo on social networks. Maybe sign of next announcement soon? Something is coming here, NovaRock teases for early October, Werchter spoke yesterday about wishlist ending soon... Could we have a tour announcement of Linkin Park with them playing Lollapalooza Paris (Live Nation) instead of Hellfest? As it's their first long tour since 2017 and to make sure Emily's voice stays ok, they could do a long 6-7 weeks tour from early June (Rock Am Ring) until mid-July (Lolla Paris). Just an idea.

These all feel heavier than the likely dance-inflected headliners I'd expect for Lolla Paris tbf.

Are they? I knew of IoW but didn't realise others might be also making declarations.

All 3 festivals are happening in July in the same 2 weeks. I guess it's not a coincidence. Even if their capacity are really different (20k, 45k, 60k).

I made a mistake: the video from yesterday said 48h to wait. So we should have names tomorrow (Sunday evening) and not on Monday. Wait and see.

Guetta and Timberlake you'd imagine would sell tickets, but it's not exactly making me feel enticed to make a return after enjoying this festival in 2018.

 

But then maybe that was just the luck of 2018 having a lot of line-ups all over the place that looked enticing.

2018 was really something else. So many 3-4 pm acts from that year are headliners now like Dua Lipa,

Catfish & The Bottlemen.

That's no different though the Dua Lipa here at Reading mid afternoon main stage in 2018. Acts just get bigger.

I'd genuinely forgotten Dua Lipa was there tbf.

 

My main memory of that Sunday is Nekfu overrunning by a good 15 minutes and The Killers deciding to just stroll on and knock out Mr Brightside to drown them out.
