My prediction is Volbeat and Toten Hosen for 2nd & 3rd headliner, unless Foo Fighters come

Slipknot, Volbeat and DTH would be one of the least uninspired Headliner Trios I could imagine, although not impossible. I think Volbeat is almost a given since we know that they will be touring, for the last headliner I think Foo Fighters or Linkin Park have good odds of appearing

I wouldn't be surprised if they got both LP and Foos.

I think LP will drop there whole tour at once, if many other festivals start teasing announcements around that time, it will surely be them otherwise I would go with volbeat

Wonder what band caused that, obviously a headliner one... Foo Fighters?

I also think about Foo Fighters as they just drop out of a festival in the US this weekend very last-minute. Linkin Park have now a show in Paris on November 3rd and the new album is coming on the 15th. I guess we won't have any announcements for 2025 before that.

RAR getting Linkin Park, Nova Rock not getting them is my guess. It's not unheard of though for a festival the next day to follow suit and just kinda of grab their 'own' announcement but it has always seemed kinda you knew what was coming. Happened with SOAD years ago.

Last year both festivals had Green Day, A7X, Maneskin but difference is that Rock Am Ring had announcement on 2nd November, while Nova Rock day after.

So it's not a big deal. Maybe they have an agreement not to announce on the same day.

Ah it's happened more recent that I thought then. I think sometimes festivals just wsnt their own announcement. I has thought they tend to share a lot, maybe another reason where just for that day they like that focus. I don't think unless the rest us great that Slipnot, BMTH and LP will get me to RAR....had I not seen Knot St Download maybe. To be fair I guess they haven't played RAR since 2019, Nova Rock are the one getting them all quick. Played 15, 19, 23 and now 25. Only difference between them and Download is Nova have them next year, Download had them in 13.

So with the Update being around the corner I'm gonna share my predictions.

 

I don't think that Linkin Park will be in the Update, I would love them to be but I can't see Nova Rock being the first European festival to drop them. And I don't think RaR will drop them either the day after, I guess the just ad some second stage heads but won't announce there last headliner.

 

My headliner guess is a bit of a let down but I still think it's gonna be Volbeat. Besides them I think 30 seconds to Mars and Korn will take high slots. Bands like Skillet, Biffy Clyro, Powerwolf and A day to remember will likely be in the mix as well.

Would be a very welcome surprise, they still own as a show for 2020..., don't get my hopes up

I was going to post Green Day's newly announced Vienna show as likely ruling them out before noting they'd actually played this festival 4 months ago.

 

So... I guess they're double out?

On the festival united forum they got the clue that three bands with numbers in there name will be in the coming announcement. 

 

I'm now pretty certain that 30 seconds will be in tomorrow's band wave, and I got my hopes up that maybe Nine Inch Nails will be as well, although nowadays they would certainly be a headliner, and I don't know how well this would work
