What is the ONE act that you have to see? (there are rules)

I've got few if any must sees this year but think the one I am really looking forward to seeing is the Manfreds.  Others on my list will no doubt crop up again but I'm not sure the Manfreds will.

I saw them earlier in the year, Paul Jones still has a good voice and is entertaining, setlist has plenty of hits including McGuinness Flint’s ones, and some blues like Smokestack Lightning.

Prydz playing a stage that looks like a dragon fly wins out over great acts I have seen before (LCD and Justice) and other acts I am yet to see (Black Pumas and Jalen Ngonda).

For me it's the Mary Wallopers just because I keep missing them for various reasons across the last few years

They were great last year, and also played the Crows Nest, which was a blast.  Could they do it again?

Fontaines for me. Saw them at Primavera Barcelona some years ago. Mainstage around 16h by then, and they blew me (and everyone of our group) away. Will be brilliant in the headline spot @The Park, I assume.

Gonna stick with my favourite act on the lineup: Alvvays.  Been a long time waiting for them to return to the farm.

That said, Coldplay always deliver live and 2016/11 are both among my favourite headline sets. So if it came to a shoot out between the 2, it would be a very difficult decision.

I have seen Paul Jones with his blues bands a few times and always found them very entertaining.  I admit I am one of those sad people who love seeing blasts from the past - my other "must see" is probably Haircut 100 - I was such a cool 17 year old!

The answer is always Alvvays.

It is and it isn't, and that's the beauty and agony of the game. If Flyte weren't playing, it would be Alvvays 💯 for me. But I've seen Alvvays on the Farm and I've never seen Flyte, and have fallen in love with them since discovering them from the Avalon drop. Tough game, eh?!

Jungle for me.

Jungle, LCD, Justice and London Grammar are 4 of my absolute favourites so I couldn’t believe it when they were all announced in the line up. Jungle are the only ones I haven’t seen live hence why I’ve chosen them. Will definitely be at LCD and will decide on the day between Justice and London Grammar. I saw Justice at West Holts in 2017 which was epic but I’m also seeing them at Field Day later in the summer which might be what swings it for me to see London Grammar. The last few years I’ve had a sober Sunday at Glastonbury so that might determine who I go see as well

Fat Dog.

Playing 4 times but only at a sensible hour on Sunday at Lonely Hearts.

I like sensible these days.

I have a suspicion (based on the Silver Hayes poster) that the Lonely Hearts slot is a DJ set. It says live next to two other acts that day but not Fat Dog

Yeah, I was there too. 2015 I think? There's still a bit of a scarcity factor for me. They don't seem to play an enormous amount of shows over here when on their album cycle and I've always had this feeling in my gut that they're a band who will make 4 or 5 albums and then call it a day. I'm catching them at every opportunity I get.

I think it’s got to be LCD, but it is a tough one.

The National are a big favourite of mine, but the clash with Justice is tough. I saw the latter once in 2008 and it was incredible, and The National have always been awesome every time I see them.

I’ve never seen LCD and they’ve been a perennial fav.

Or maybe it’s Lankum now I’ve read what a few commenters have said on here…

For the first time ever there isn’t anything unmissable for me this year to be honest 🤷‍♂️ (plenty I’m looking forward to, but nothing that can’t be sacrificed to circumstances)

Ahh, thanks for the heads up. I'll have to power through for a late one.
