It's funny as I've easily got the most acts I'd watch with 6 currently I believe on the KOL day. Followed by Saturday and Friday could easily be passed by if needed.
That wasn't on his own: Doja Cat was orignally gonna play too until she f**ked up her throat. In addition, various seats in 2022 got lowered from their on-sale price so that they would actually sell. Saw it myself at the show I attended. And this was coming right after the success of Blinding Lights. Since then, Abel had The Idol which messed with his brand, and we don't know yet how well the new album will do. So I stand by what I said before. Why else would he include Carti on the tour.
So after having been to Birmingham tonight for the Bullet tour, I thought Bullet were very better but I also like them more. If I'm honest, I could have picked a different band for them to tour with.
Nice addition on the tour of Waking the Demon as well from the following album.
Birmingham however still had tickets for all the main sections on sale this afternoon and it was very clear to tell it wasn't sold out. People were coming in solely for Bullet when I popped out for a pint though this could work for other nights for Trivium closing, just my experience. The 02 also still has tickets in virtually every area except for the front pit and the middle terrace areas for some. Why they've done a hell hole/snake fit for this gig I'm not sure, a bit odd. There are bands out there that charge comfortably more than these did too for arenas.
I don't either of these headlining Downlosd though at all, bands that have played gigs this size without doing co-headlining have only subbed Download before so unless the festival scale comes down a lot I see no chance. That's my view. It has likely ticked the box off for seeing them now though.
