Pinkpop 2025

Sorry, it was a question. I forgot the ?

Festileaks seem to think Muse are likely for a headline slot. Especially given they just confirmed for Tons of Rock: Norway. Another artist on that bill is Frank Carter and the Sex Pistols! They are in the vicinity. Would be a great addition.

Hopefully a lineup is coming soon! Why does Pinkpop have to be behind the curve.

Perhaps they announce the line up at once?

I suspect we will have a promotional post on the website first, which will trigger a weeks lead in time to an announcement. Things are clearly picking up now, with all the major June July events getting touting for ticket sales in a competitive European market. Always baffles me why Pinkpop happy to sit-back and not get in on the early action. Evidently have their reasons.
I've bagged some flights now, as they are creeping up. So, it better be good haha.
Looking at Weezer European dates, they have a gap over the Sat and Sunday of Pinkpop.

Weezer are in Hamburg the Thursday before Pinkpop (5 hour drive) from Landgraaf. Then, currently free across the Pinkpop weekend, currently. 🙂

Feel like I heard a rumour Muse initially agreed to play Pinkpop in 2024 but deferred their touring plans. So maybe it is a rebooking that they can go along with, especially with the Norway announcement.

Ah yus. There was / is an interview with one of the Pinkpop higher-ups. It's online somewhere, and they explain that last year was a challenge and they had some re-configuring of touring schedules to deal with. They lost Muse (cancelled touring plans) and then Dua Lipa (she wanted more preparation time for Glasto), which meant having to lock in a replacements late in the day.

Looks like Linkin Park will play at Gelredome Arnhem. So no Pinkpop.

My current prediction;
Friday..
Weezer and Muse

Saturday..
Chappell Roan and Justin Timberlake

Sunday..
Charli XCX and Olivia Rodrigo

Updated.... 🙃

That would explain it. I believe it was posted on the Muse fans subReddit, which given my status as a big fan I'm naturally inclined to follow.

It is a curio tbf as I thought Muse were going to be inactive in 2025, or at least maybe just one or two shows here and there, and yet thanks to this week's announcement of the Norway festival gig, here we are.

Fender isn’t going to headline RW and sub Pinkpop?

He's ok. Would be somewhat underwhelming, given the calibre of artist in and around Europe in June. How big is he in Holland?

I'm sticking with Muse, Justin Timberlake and Olivia Rodrigo

Weezer, Chappell Roan, Korn, Alanis Morissette and Electric Callboy amongst the undercard!

I'll be totally wrong, no doubt haha! I noticed Judas Priest "could" be a completely unexpected addition. Playing Germany on the 18th June and appear to be free over the Pinkpop weekend.

If by any chance they go for green day and not Olivia, I'd probably buy a ticket immediately. What a trio.

But I guess that both Muse and Green day is an unlikely choice for pinkpop?

Alanis morissette is playing Ziggo Dome Amsterdam.

The "Twitter-sphere" seems to think Linkin Park, Olivia Rodrigo, Goldband headlining. With Aphex Twin, Sam Fender, Joost and Sleep Token and Slowdive elsewhere on the undercard.

Looks fan-made to me. But, a good effort.
