Absolute vintage year for me so many highlights. From chatting to all my friends as well it seems there were barely any dud sets and even those that didn’t quite hit the heights seem to have been technical issues rather than any artists phoning it in. Thursday highlights Arxx His Lordship Flash Bang Brass Friday Highlights Bombay Bicycle Club Lulu Sprints Saturday Highlights Kneecap Lankum Little Simz Jessie Ware Sunday Highlights Newdad Pillow Queens Bob Vylan

Prof Alice Roberts said something similar on Twitter. That it was a bit dehumanising and the crowd were just props for the TV broadcast…think she referred to people as lampstands

f**k that. It's already too expensive and exclusionary for a lot of people.

My highlights - Bloc Party - sounded amazing and played the hits, crowd really went with it too. A nostalgia act but still feel and sound fresh. The National - Have fell behind with them in recent years but loved everything about this set. Matt running into the crowd right where in was standing was a proper rush and the band sound so tight and really create a wall of noise that just gets people moving. Peggy Gou - such a joy and even though her bringing out Ellis Bextor for MOTDF was a different speed for the set it was good vibes with a lot of space thanks to Coldplay taking the majority of the site. LCD Soundsystem- not to get too heavy but my dad died a few months ago and he always wanted to go to Glastonbury but never had the chance. Hearing this song about growing up and old as the sun was setting set me off massively. My favourite moment of the whole weekend. Olivia Dean - a lovely way to kick things off for me on the Friday. Vibing with a beer to her was an undoubted highlight and she sounded incredible
