Wanted to leave at 7.30am but campmate was up late so was 8.30am. Straight out of purple 4 car park, just over an hour to Bristol, then flew up back to Manchester and home for 2pm after a couple of stops for heavy eyes. Lovely stuff.

Yeah, I'd agree with this. It's mad when you think that the site in general, the whole site, holds around 140k regular ticket purchased punters during the day time. Plus all the performers, volunteers, other workers, etc brings it up to 210k. And then the SEC is like the size of the Other Stage and expecting everyone to squeeze in. Obviously, there's also Arcadia, the Park, Silver Hayes, and not everyone goes to the dance areas anyway, but it's quite something. I'm not surprised that they've been forced to drop the niche bars and focus on the larger venues, but the SEC has certainly lost some of it's sparkle in doing that. For me at least. -

The crowds say you're delulu my friend. This is not speculation any more... even the seagulls came down like it was all over -
Interesting. Considered going that year but didn't. Probably would've gone Foos as I'd loved them at MK Bowl the year before. Justice, I'm not as familiar with but they've got a few good tunes. If I'd gone to Glasto this year with the pickings as slim as they were on some days, National/Justice up against one another would've pissed me off.

Left Holt Farm at 9:45am fearing the worst. Straight out, bit slow (but moving) west through Glastonbury & Street but then no bother after that. Lucky to miss the M5 issues. Couple of services stops, dropped my nephew in Sheffield at 2:45, home in Huddersfield by 3:45. Result really leaving at peak time.
