Like them or not - Coldplay know how to put on a bloody great show, and have the hits to smash a headline slot everytime.

Coldplay are f**king huge whether we like it or not. There’s a guy at work who exclusively and stringently only listens to rap music. I looked at his Instafest last year and the one artist that was the exception to this rule? Coldplay.

I chose not to see Coldplay in 2011 but watched them in 2016 and was so glad i did, even if you arent a big fan, they put on a brilliant show

Tbf they have got a few years on her but yeah, they're about as safe a bet as you can have as a headliner at Glastonbury. The production is obviously great but they've got the tunes to make it a communal experience, which is one of the key ingredients.

Not the biggest Coldplay fan these days but fair play to them, they’re putting on a great show. Looks like a proper party atmosphere in the crowd. Definitely a safe bet for Saturday headliner.

Today has turned out waaaay better than I thought it would. Incredible performances from The Breeders & Soccer Mommy. Plus excellent sets from Lankum and Sleaford Mods. 

 

I'm in such a  good mood I might even watch Coldplay, although I doubt I'll stick with it for the full 2 hours!

Did sound too polished last night, and I'm a massive Dua Lipa fan. Think the way they filmed it last night didn't help. Far more crowd shots tonight, most of the time for Dua Lipa it was a straight ahead shot of the stage.
