And why did we believe that random user? 😅

Not saying we definitely did we we've had random users come on before and their first post had the information.

Not everyone has used efests for ages that do get information. No one believed the Oasis info from someone who does know stuff. I don't believe the LP info came from a user of big info either and they even called later that same month information which became very hard to believe.

This is interesting as it is this person who believes LP are doing a different UK festival to Download.

It’s possible. If LP have only one headline show in UK, they will not play Download, but other fests are possible.

Also Iron Maiden doing Eurockeennes fest in France, not Hellfest.

So everything’s possible

Yes, the reason was though that the LP at another fest came from someone who said Maiden at Rock for People. I haven't actually double checked it into myself but it has been said that this can't happen now. I'm not calling the guy out for bad information or etc, just that if one piece fell in you'd have a stronger belief.

Greenfield and Nova Rock announce on 30.09 and 03.10. They often share headliners with RFP, so maybe on any of those dates.

Greenfield announcement is off. Nothing about that anymore on their socials....

They've replied to a comment on Facebook saying that they're waiting for a band to announce a global tour at once before announcing anything. That would indicate Linkin Park or Foo Fighters to me.

When have they replied? Today?

LP in the current setup and with the current hype seem a bit too big honestly. And Foos might have pulled the plug on European dates?

Who else could it be? NIN too small?

Pearl Jam?

I wouldn't be reading too much into it tbh. The original Czech version reads rather in a general sense that bands tend to announce the whole tours at once, I don't see it as RfP is waiting for a specific global tour. It could be anything. Just my 2c...

They’re not that small but I think people don’t really care about them in Czechia.

their last Prague headline was 3,5k cap, so I don't think it's them.

Maybe they will start with the Christmas calendar this year.

Based on yesterday's announcement - what can we expect from Primavera Sound to show up in Rock for People lineup?

Are LCD Soundsystem possible at all? Maybe Fontaines DC, Idles, Turnstile, Spiritualized?

I would say it very much depends who will play Prima Porto...

Based on Nova Rock announcement, I guess Idles are quite certain as the festival has a long tradition with them. Spiritualized played another festival this year so I guess they are ruled out. Fontaines are likely at Metronome as their local promoter books for the festival which is happening one week after RfP. Turnstile is a good shout. I wouldn't be surprised to get some of the electronic acts closing the tent stage, as B3K did in 24. LCD would be awesome but I reckon they are very expensive and somehow exclusive to Prima?

I hope we get something soon, very likely a lot of crossovers with Nova

Wet Leg? They were supposed to have them in 2022 but it was cancelled due to logistics or something.

Is Wet Leg still a thing now? I thought Last Dinner Party took over the hype 😁

Denzel Curry could be cool. RFP is the local promoter of High Vis... but that's it I guess.

Deftones are announced for a gig in London in the end of June. Are they possible at all?

I assume that we're waiting that long for Linkin Park announcement..

So maybe combo of headliners: Korn, Linkin Park and Deftones (with Bad Omens as sub) ?

Dont think that Deftones are big enough to headline here, their last Prague show was a 1k cap in 2010.

I believe someone in the know said they’re playing Primavera in Porto (the same dates as RfP) so I would say that makes them less likely but who knows…

I’m now leaning towards Korn, Linkin Park and someone for the younger audience (Olivia Rodrigo?). Even though LP are still a big question mark as they haven’t announced any European dates yet. On the other hand, Download forum is pretty sure they don’t have them which would make LP available for RfP if they’re the headliner NovaRock is waiting for.
