I know I do these all the time but in the half a month since my last prediction, so much has changed (considering I had Muse as my Saturday headliner)! Here's a brief rundown of all the changes:

  • Conceded and took King Gizz out until I see otherwise
  • After hearing Ethel Cain's new project, I'd be very surprised to see her at the G
  • I know Shygirl is definitely too low
  • Really wanted to add a second secret set but couldn't find one - got a small list of Wolf Alice, Muse, KOL (they can still do Saturday, hypothetically...) and Fender
  • Put in some 'hail mary's' (Weezer and Public Enemy)
  • Still got a huge longlist of potential names that I've been trying to fit in but can't find room
  • The Pyramid subs list is getting absurd, especially with the Paramore question mark and the Kasabian info - Central Cee, Jack White, Yungblud, Noah Kahan, Raye all still in the mix.

But, with all things said...here's where I'm at.

Friday:

Pyramid - The 1975, Paramore, Wet Leg, Alanis Morissette, Ezra Collective, Travis, CMAT

Other Stage - Loyle Carner, Deftones, Gracie Abrams, Franz Ferdinand, Inhaler, Nieve Ella, Cast, Shed Seven (openers)

West Holts - FKA twigs, Kamasi Washington, Doechii, FLO, Myles Smith, Yussef Dayes, Cymande, Master Peace

Woodsies - Rufus Du Sol, Foster the People, The Kooks, girl in red, Viagra Boys, Lola Young, Alfie Templeman, Antony Szmierek

The Park - Amyl and the Sniffers, Laura Marling, Public Service Broadcasting, Faye Webster, Berwyn, The Lemon Twigs, Osees

Saturday:

Pyramid -  Neil Young, Kasabian, Jorja Smith, Public Enemy, Snow Patrol, Smokey Robinson, Train, Cat Burns

Other Stage - Charli xcx, HAIM, The Libertines, Beabadoobee, Kneecap, Everything Everything, The K's, Hard-Fi

West Holts - Cypress Hill, Goat, JPEGMAFIA, Shygirl, Rizzle Kicks, Nilufer Yanya, Pozer, Dua Saleh

Woodsies - St. Vincent, Blossoms, Nova Twins, TV on the Radio, Japanese Breakfast, Kelly Lee Owens, Paris Paloma, Good Neighbours

The Park - Underworld, Father John Misty, English Teacher, Magdalena Bay, Royel Otis, Lauren Mayberry, Jessica Pratt

Sunday:

Pyramid - Olivia Rodrigo, Chappell Roan, Nile Rodgers & Chic, Rod Stewart, The Script, Sigrid, Richard Hawley

Other Stage - The Prodigy, Jamie T, Tate McRae, Weezer, Future Islands, Wunderhorse, Jake Bugg, Red Rum Club

West Holts - Basement Jaxx, Maribou State, Denzel Curry, The Maytals, Geordie Greep, Hak Baker, Elmiene, Ibibio Sound Machine

Woodsies - Clairo, Cage the Elephant, The Japanese House, The Dare, Fat Dog, Lambrini Girls, Heartworms, Competition Winner

The Park - The Maccabees, Beth Gibbons, L'Imperatrice, TBA (Biffy Clyro), Tom Misch, Katy J Pearson, Fabiana Palladino

If some of those headliners from Friday could swap with Sunday id pretty much take that. O'Rod, id love to see but against The Prodigy, Basement Jaxx and The Maccabees - i need to clone myself

I already have tickets for the APE day but it would be their first Gig since the "break up" shows and I'm a massive fan - if they were on the Friday  -  id be sorted - id only need to clone myself twice then

Me too -  Given To The Wild is one of the greatest albums ive ever heard!   There is a few gaps in Sound of the city festival (Manchester) That could well be them -  Just after Glastonbury -  Their must be some other shows somewhere to come out.

I don't think you can get though Glastonbury with only one clone -  I have not watched a Pyramid Headliner in ages and would be tempted with O-Rod - just inevitably gonna get clashed out for me.

See most people missing out Parcels on their lineups and reckon they'll be pretty high up either Woodsie's or the Park. Perfect sized gap as well. (I'm a fan so fingers crossed anyways...)

Expand

I did have Parcels on a few days ago and I can’t remember who I swapped them for. They’re still very much a major possibility for the Park for me.

Glastonbury couldn't cope with 3 of me let alone my Mrs.

I am definitely with you on Given To the Wild! What a stunning piece of work.

Well I'm typing now and I'm not coming on here calling people out for making festival predictions that might go against information that isn't confirmed yet. The minute you do that you become a troll.

Go figure or just use didn't ask as that's your usual lol.

Made some big amendments to my one and have taken a swing that Loyle won't be that so have added Nine Inch Nails. Robyn as a woodsier headliner. Troye Sirvan subbing charli. And public enemy on pyramid.

Expand

I’d take that. My headliners:

FRI:  Shed Seven (first Avalon headliner)

SAT:  Charli XCX

SUN:  The Prodigy

Perhaps Olivia on Sunday depending on my mood but if not the first Glasto without a single Pyramid headliner.

I don't think the scissor sisters are even close to a sub. 4th pyramid perhaps maybe even lower. Their tour has sold very poorly. One o2 date and heaps left on TM, similar story for other cities.

Jorja is quite underbilled there

Johnny Marr would be a fun pyramid opener

Could see busted in avalon being mad busy even at headliner time (which is a whole different issue!)

Horsegirl at 12:30 on WH would be interesting lol

Still Basement Jaxx, Underworld, The Prodigy as headliners but not as easy

Wonder how many names from here we could potentially get at the G? Only two major names from last year showed up at the farm (SZA and Blondshell) but I could see quite a few names aside from O-Rod in contention e.g. JPEGMAFIA, mk.gee, Benson Boone, Hozier, Raye, Clairo, MARINA, The Japanese House, Royel Otis, Tyla etc.

Usually get about 4 names on average playing Governors Ball + Glastonbury so I expect a few but not all the ones you listed will play.

O-Rod, Royel Otis and 2 more maybe.

Imagine if Scissor Sisters pull a Sugababes by playing an overcrowded West Holts slot late afternoon.

I won’t be there. Once saw them by accident in Lost Vagueness, they ain’t all that. Overrated I’d say

If they do the debut album in full I'd be tempted to see them, but without the female vocalist this could easily become a deception and a waste of time versus doing something better on site.

Would be happy with two again. Olivia Rodrigo and Joey Valence & Brae would do me!
