sedra
Cher or Carole King or Annie Lennox Tom Jones possibly for another go i suppose Sting might fit a legends spot now?

He certainly does…his set list from last night puts him in headliner territory (50% of it being classics by The Police…assuming he plays them straight and doesn’t do weird muzak versions of them). foolee
Talk of Robbie being a legend but surely he’d easily headline? Watching him tonight at Hyde Park, has so many bangers and is great live.

I would almost suggest Sting hasn't played Glastonbury either of the last two years due to that he would want a higher slot than they want to give him. I think he's probably aware that it'd put him a position where there's a lot less pressure, likely a much bigger crowd, and just about as much kudos as any headline set. Basically - lower risk, higher reward. Same as if Kylie had headlined in 2019 it wouldn't have gone nearly as well.
kalifire
Robbie is inevitable, imo. It's just a matter of time.

Yes, a tantric Roxanne could go on all night.😉 I suppose whether it’s Robbie or anyone else considered a legend it’s all down to the money they’d accept. The Nal
Ryan Paris still very much active and touring. Assume hes been asked before. 100k at this, girls up on shoulders, flares everywhere.
Justcalledtosay
Robbie would jump at the chance to do the legends slot purely on the basis of his ego. It would go down a storm as well to be fair.
Petewasbristol
The Faces are due to get back for some shows together next year. You have three legends in Rod Stewart, Ronnie Wood and Kenney Jones in one package there. Stranger things have happend.

Cut a few of these out and it's a hits/anthem-singalong for a full hour.

Iphigenia
The way the lineups have been going, and the type of acts they're putting in big slots, I predict the Venga Boys will be the legends😅

Playing Blur's Parklife with Danny Dyer doing the Phil Daniels part at his BST Hyde Park show the other day was an interesting choice.
