There's more than I expected at Coachella this year. SEVENTEEN were actually one of my highlights this year, had a right ol' knees-up with them - but the very small crowd they drew may well raise questions over who they aim for and what position they are promised.   Likewise, I'd love to see some J-rock get a moment in the sun, but I think you'd be hard-pressed to book them anywhere other than Woodsies or Park, depending on the act in question. If Radwimps come around next year - unlikely for festivals, but a man can dream - then I'd love an hour of them under the tent.

Absolutely no chance Fontaines are Thursday headliner. Bigger than all of those that are headlining.

I'd have said so, but there were definitely people who felt she should be in the conversation. Whether that is here or there neither matters now - topping Parklife likely indicates her level for the summer season, at least.
