I last saw him when I was a teenager at Bellevue, Manchester in 1978 - Blondes Have More Fun Tour. I would take a chance on seeing him again for old times sake! 😂

At the old speedway track? Wow. That place was legendary.
And of course, ole Rod was arguably at his peak in the late 70s too.

It was at Kings Hall, Belle Vue never been there since. Not much memory of the actual venue but it was a great show!

Just posted this on another thread too but Justin Timberlake is headlining Isle of Wight then Dublin 28 June and Chelmsford 4 July. Clear GSH. Could be do a Legend slot? Genuinely not sure.

No idea if he backs up much, and I'd have also assumed potentially too recent, too pricey and too controversial, though we've had plenty of those - to get the nod.

As long as he promised not to play anything off his last two albums, sure. But good luck suggesting that to him.

Jackson Browne at Glastonbury would get my vote! My Dad’s favourite ❤️

Missed him in the UK the last time round, but I got into Sydney two days before for a flying visit. Ended up buying the morning of, and had a wonderful evening at the Super Theatre.

For those who find themselves in Sydney, I'd recommend the Super Theatre as a venue by the way - similar to Leeds's First Direct Arena in its bowl configuration, but a little smaller with a nicer slope to it.

That, and the DUI was a hit to a reputation already savaged by the Britney Spears allegations.

Plenty of people have gone off him, though plenty will stick the road.

His new album has made going off him because of the allegations very straightforward. Just absolute crap, as Gnomey said.

Why, what did JT do?

The tide has been turning on him for a while. Some say he has been benefitting from the downfall of women throughout his career, Janet Jackson at the superbowl. His relationship with Britney (which came up again in her book recently). And in general he has been saying some odd comments.

Plus he had his DUI which isn't a good look.
