I assumed gnawing on a sweaty block of cheddar in my tent would've been an incorrect life choice! Damn, how good would it be to have next year's tickets in the bag already.

I had a look in the co-op late-ish Sunday afternoon and couldn't even find the cheese. 🤦🏻‍♀️

I ended up in the co-op drunkenly on the Saturday but forgot to look for cheese and was just overwhelmed with the amount of strawberries and how I hadn't seen one person eating strawberries...

Who needs a whole block of cheese at the festival? 😂

However I would of if I was there! Maybe on the last day to bring home haha.

I went through a whole pack of Emmental 😅

I'm gutted I didn't go and look earlier in the weekend - out of all the comps it might have had the least entries.

I didn't spot the competition at all, otherwise I'd have been there, sweaty cheese in hand! Though to be fair, I had a block of 2024 competition cheese in the coolbag for the first few days - I froze it so it worked as an ice block until I fed it to my kids in their sandwiches. I feel I should get an entry for loyalty, or something!

GET YER CHEESE, FOLKS

(This competition runs from 00:00 20th November 2024 through to 23:59 on 10th December 2024.)
(There are 10 pairs up for grabs and given the 3 week time-frame it's quite good odds! Worth calling around to stores to check stock too)

Did we ever get to the bottom of whether you can buy cheese under your membership and gift the 2 tickets if you happen to be a winner? Or will the tickets be under the name of the co op account holder?

I'm still eating frozen cheese from last year's competition!
Important point to note though, it is one entry per transaction.

And for those who asked, tickets aren't transferrable: 5  PRIZES: There are 10 pairs of General Admission tickets to Glastonbury Festival 2025 to be won. Maximum one pair of tickets per winner. The tickets are non-exchangeable, non-transferable cannot be exchanged and are not for resale

So if I buy multiple blocks of cheese in separate transactions, swiping my membership card each time - is that multiple entries?

there is some info in the link above so check out the full T&C. "There is no limit to the number of times a Co-op Member can enter either draw during the Promotional Period, but there is a maximum of one entry per transaction"

Yes, buy them separately and make sure you use your Co Op card and get the receipt saying you are entered in the competition.

And do not give up hope, I got the last of the 10 pairs for this years festival, and they had to go a long way down the standby list before they got to me, was long past the closing date when I got the email

I don't like cheese so only bought one block, it was enough, need luck on my side again, had none on ticket days

Good luck everyone! 🤞

Don't forget it's only valid in national not regional co-ops. I know that round here (southern co-op area) that means blue co-ops not green ones.
