The van in Big Ground was incredible. 3 cheese toastie on thick bread.

I was given a normal receipt and a separate receipt which said I had been entered into the competition.
 

No cheese in my local Co Op today so don't know if it is different this year

Does the cheese have to say Glastonbury competition on it to enter ? I bought a few blocks of cheese today and scanned my coop membership  but none says Glastonbury competition just Glastonbury cheese 🤔

Yeah I got that one but last year's had a Glastonbury competition sticker on it but not sure if that's changed this year

I never got a receipt I would imagine coop membership and proof of purchase on bank card would be enough without one

Tickets are non-transferable and cannot be sold. They are issued to the co op member and their nominated guest.

Was there winning tickets in the Glasto onsite co-op cheese sold during the festival this year then?

I bought 2 in local Co-Op today in separate transactions, I didn't get a special receipt

In last years competition desperation, over several weeks I bought loads of Worthy Farm Reserve Cheddar Cheese. I bought it in a co-op group store, paid and used my membership card for each block of cheese separately. Not once did it say anything about the competition on my receipts. To this day I still don't know if I was entered into the ticket draw or not.   

 

(So make sure it is a co-op GROUP store you buy the cheese in. Other  co-op stores sell it but it won't count as a competition entry).

I’ve no idea if my local Co-op is a group store, how can I tell?

Go here: https://www.coop.co.uk/store-finder

and put in your location or post code and find your local co-op.

Click on the "More about this store" and it will open up another section. If it doesn't say anything under the store name, it should be a co-op group store. Otherwise it will tell you what cooperative it is part of.

 

For example Glastonbury store doesn't appear to be go-op group, Pilton co-op does.

Via shop.coop and enter their valid Co-op Group Membership number at online checkout.

Same here I've sent them a DM on twitter to get an answer for how do you know if you have been entered.

Just had a response saying they no longer do a receipt for an entry and so long that you have scanned your membership card and the cheese you are entered. You can check your normal receipt to see that your membership card has scanned.
