What have you done to get ready for Glastonbury 25?

In preparation for 2025, starting to wonder when the ticket sale might be so I can make sure I’m fully available and raring to go.

Do we think it’ll be back to October or November again? And is it usually the first weekend?

so either 3rd and 6th of October

or 31st October and 3rd November

or 7th and 10th November? (Although I don’t think they would do it on remembrance Sunday, would they?)

also, when does this usually get confirmed? We’re not far off being a month away from the October dates?

So I have, checked in here again, lots of reading and absorbing. Spoken to my GP about some health issues. Booked in a outdoor swim (tomorrow) to kick off some fitness. I havent managed to apply for holiday yet but have added a TBC in my work calendar. I have also made contact with local "greenspace" volunteers to do some litter picking etc.

Had another look at F&B tents, we have one already which has had a lot of use -  3 man for me and my husband, but I may be volunteering on my own so wondering if I should get a smaller one.

Unrelated, but same foot… I picked up a nasty infection earlier this year (strep C) and in April I was in hospital with magic marker just below my knee, on sepsis watch facing potential amputation if it tracked higher up my body. Didn’t think there was a chance in hell I’d be at festivals this year but I was 😀

Bloody hell, thats a bit scary! Glad you are ok

3 man F&B is fine for 1 person- I’d stick with that.

Yeah, its a lovely tent, I was just thinking about my back and lugging it around on my own 😅
Also, I love a bit of tent research - but ultimately I probably can't afford another one

I don't want to worry you Crazy, but I'm loving the cheeky little show of right foot flesh.

@squirrelarmy- Remarkable. Truly magnificent. Were you (or Crazy) able to get a hold of any 'proper' plans etc in order to design / style the finished product?

I feel your pain ! I was rushed into hospital  the week before glasto 23 with an infection that they told me could be fatal but also f**ked my leg up and there was also chance of amputation too but luckily it's still attached!

From getting excited about going to glasto to being told i could potentially die and if survived possibly having my leg chopped off in the space of 2 weeks wasn't fun!

Yes, I thought it had been some time since I had saw 'squirrel's' name on here. Mind you, I'm not exactly the most observant on that front.

As for the 'foot' thing - I do hope that you do know that that sort of thing is all made up? I also hope that others realise this too. Not that I'm going to fret if they don't. 🙂
