Fender in Leeds a few years ago - the arena - was great crack, but I do get why some might not be on board. The Dying Light is a tune I love, but it's so clearly a Springsteen-style ballad to the point of overkill, while Hypersonic Missiles really falls into it for the massive instrumental break. People Watching has got those Born in the U.S.A.-era synth flourishes slathered beneath the rhythm.   It is a bit lazy to say every soaring sax solo is a Springsteen knock-off - but in these instances, quite a few are. (And I love it.)

Someone else quite reliable has heard Foos were out.

I would go for 2.   Fontaines and Noah.
