Chvrches appear to have maintained considerable clout on the live circuit despite not scoring a chart/radio/streaming hit for some time, and despite numerous producers being obviously brought in to help create one. A tent in the afternoon would surely be a massive step down for Lauren? She could just say no.

Travis appear to be support/subbing act of choice though I don't know how long that can last and imo isn't the right strategy for them. I say "strategy", I'm maybe talking here about a handful of gigs but it seems like a deliberate choice.

 

They were the biggest band in Britain, yes, but for only about 6 - 12 months, almost a quarter of a century ago.

 

they are playing the Hydro themselves this month and tickets, not that surprisingly, appear plentiful.

Crossover with DL isn't completely unheard of (Biffy in 2017) but I can't see it happening as they do like bands to be exclusive.

DF playing their usual game of not announcing the lineup until their scheduled Scottish gigs have passed. 
 

This week alone you’ve got Charli XCX and Fontaines DC playing The Hydro. Sam Fender is next week.

 

If Charli is doing it, I imagine we’ll get a Brat themed ‘trnsmt’ poster tonight at her show teasing her like they did for her Parklife announcement. 
 

I can see Fontaines DC getting a “special guest” billing but can’t see them headlining - they don’t fit the TRNSMT crowd unfortunately. Maybe on a Sam Fender headline day. Also see that they’ve just announced a Newcastle headline show on TRNSMT weekend so they’re around.

Not saying Lauren *is* Chvrches as obviously not the case to those paying attention, but I would have thought to the public, generally, yes. 

 

Looks like she is appearing on Sunday Brunch which seems kind of...off.  One way or another she must have wanted to press on while the 2 chaps didn't?
