Friday: Slayer / Volbeat

Saturday: Sabaton / Korn

Sunday: Iron Maiden / Within Temptation

I'm happy they won't be there just because I don't like the band. Just my own opinion. But I'm still surprised they play Sweden Rock as exclusive, I was they would have headlined Graspop next year.

I saw a few weeks ago that he announced arenas and was surprised by that as well. I think North stage is usually the 2nd name of the day so I assume there'll be some (probably slightly) bigger name than him - like... Scorpions or Sabaton 😐

Outside of Germany he’s only doing 1 show per country which is probably why he’s able to do arena shows and makes him look bigger than he maybe is. Lots of bands could arguably do the same.

Might well be the case. I forget - or more accurately, try to ignore because it depresses me - that public transportation links in mainland Western Europe are both fairly efficient and significantly cheaper than here.

 

If I could get down and back from Yorkshire to London for a nominal amount, then I'd be down with alarming frequency. But I basically have to rob the local HSBC to vaguely get near Grantham these days.
