if i stayed an extra day in glasgow could have seen Pink also but had to go to london to see pearl jam (which ended up cancelling)

Rod doesn't do many festivals, but when he headlined the Radio 2 Festival in Hyde Park a few years ago, he used the occasion to play his more obscure and long forgotten hits, which disappointed a lot of people who were there for a singalong.   https://www.setlist.fm/setlist/rod-stewart/2015/hyde-park-london-england-bf4bd32.html   I wonder if he'll do the same this time.

Adding some names I don't think I have seen mentioned in the thread yet Spanish Love Songs - Midwest Emo/Punk band, I don't think they've ever played before but put on a great live show.   Tommy Lefroy - Indie Pop with some minor folk vibes.   Crawlers - Soft rock band from Liverpool. Played Left Field in 2023.  Friko - Phenomenal indie rock band, remind me of Arcade Fire. Have only played a handful of UK shows. Their album from earlier this year is one of my highest rated albums (of 500+ new releases I've listened to)   Lola Young - R&B inspired pop artist from South London. Again, another one of my favourite albums of 2024. Played Glasto in 2022 on Silver Hayes.   Big Special - Post Punk duo, they did play Left Field this year though. 

Yeah you're possibly right about them doing the other festivals. I just feel like the Saturday here in particular is lacking a bit, but based on what they first announced last year and this year I feel that maybe they feel they've got the rest of the days sewn up already? I think it will sell very well so they might not feel that they need much else adding other than the smaller names.   I did think though that this seems smaller than usual so perhaps they've got a couple of bigger names to come in the second announcement. Either way I'm aiming for a weekend, already enough to justify the cost if the cheaper tickets can be grabbed
