Are oil reserves expected to start running out in 15 years? if that's the case then we'd definitely better start transitioning asap!   I expect flight prices will need to go up anyway with all the carbon offsetting required to hit net zero targets..unless they're going to lump that on tax payers which seems unfair...or unless they don't include aviation in the net zero targets which is just silly.
