I don't believe they were, there was very solid information they weren't even booked until a week before.

Regardless still was a weak booking from Glasto more than a coup from Truck

Would love Wolf Alice to get a headline slot for this.

When can we expect to get the first names or is that still miles away. I have never been any good at remembering that sort of stuff.

isnt it normally february time?

EDIT: was january 22nd this year

probably not for 2025 but if self esteems next album does well she could be a shout for 2026 headliner

Her crowd in 2023 at sub was tiny, yes it was raining but felt really small for one of the big acts, not sure she fits the vibe of the festival enough for headline

Where would the maccabees sit on this?

I believe they are about to be announced tomorrow as Brighton on the beach headliners

Headliner based on the size of their shows.

Given they are supposedly doing a Lido or APE day i'd maybe rule them out to be honest

WA did it in 2019 and I do remember them doing a good job given I was there. So, yeah, they could still do it and they're overdue a comeback.

Bloc Party sold out Crystal Palace park (not bowl) month+ in advance. They are definitely a headliner, or thursday at worst.

Also going on tour a bit more judging by the announcement earlier this week that they're doing a Manchester Castlefield Bowl show, ironically repeating the show I saw them at in 2019 - same venue and same SA in full concept.

They headlined Latitude on their last tour if I remember correctly. I think they’d be a better headliner booking than all three of this years headliners to be honest

After Kendall's announcement most likely kaiser chiefs and or Courteeners as headliners?

Courteeners are very much the truck crowd. would go down a treat

I thought Courteeners may headline a day and think Kendall has made that even more likely now.

I think you are also right about Kaiser Chiefs but maybe Thursday?

Courteeners still very small down south

Pretty sure they couldn't sell out brixton o2 (5k) this year or maybe last

Kooks slot maybe

Hope they get the Prodigy - think FBS is probably too dancey for truck

As much as I would like some one like Wolf Alice to headline or have a surprise, I suspect the headliners will be some one already announced as active next year.

So I will guess Courteeners, Snow Patrol, Fat Boy Slim with Kaiser Chiefs on the Thursday.

As a potential wild card maybe The Last Dinner Party replacing one of the above.

Was thinking TLDP will be high up. Sub I’m thinking.

I just wondered whether they would give them a bump to have a female headliner. I enjoyed Wet Leg last year and am a fan and seen them a number of times but had to admit it was obvious they got the slot to make the top line more diverse.

I get the feeling there will be a lot of enthusiasm in the industry to push TLDP to get another act that can take headline slots at the mid tier festivals. Sub would be about right for this but just wonder will they want to give them a bump?
