it would, but i also think having logos like blossoms on it is a bit bonkers, gives it away a bit

I think that's exactly the point though. They're also sending things in the post, presumably arriving today/tomorrow, to do exactly that as well, and have their instagram channel / chat where they've been suggesting they'll drop names prematurely as well.

i know they have always done the postal stuff but thats only to a set amount of people, having a blurred poster where you can clearly make out logos like blossoms just seem to far to me

I mean most of the postal clues go onto Twitter or forums like this pretty soon after they arrive, so it becomes quite public knowledge. The intention is to get people excited about the lineup by revealing names from it, just like teasing Blossoms in the poster has done.

 

Not sure if you just really don't like Blossoms and don't want them to be there or something but feels like a lot of mental gymnastics going on to try and avoid what feels quite obvious. That's the poster for this year, and they're playing.

I have a few friends who adore Blossoms, and they're a solid crowdpleaser live. But I would honestly struggle to pick out any song beyond Charlemagne.

So alternatively both the festival and blossoms will be completely fine with them mocking up a fake poster with them on it?

Logic firmly out the window here.

It obviously is the blurred poster - the sister festivals don't have the same design as Truck and the time blossoms played before it was clearly a different lineup to the blurred one.

 

This exact thing happened last year, a blurred poster leaked a few days before the lineup came out.

Yeah, feel the poster is the real one but does seem to have more names then what they claimed. They know we are interested in the big names, so when they do announce some of the undercard part of the poster may look different.

 

I think the big six at the top will be on the drop on Monday.

 

Hopefully some of us will get real clues soon.

I love blossoms, they are the best indie pop band around at the moment imo.

 

I used them as an example cause they have a very distinct logo that's easy to make out even when blurred

Also seen them twice this year and must be about a dozen times now. They are one of my other half’s favourite bands, so will go down well if they are playing.

Maybe centre name on second line is Thursday. If it’s The Last Dinner Party, it gives you a female headliner?
